E1 Team Miami, powered by Magnus, proudly stands as Miami’s premier electric race boat team. Helmed by the iconic salsa singer Marc Anthony and operated by the esteemed Victory Team, a powerhouse in powerboat racing, Team Miami is poised to revolutionize the racing scene. The team’s starting lineup for the inaugural season boasts the exceptional talents of 6-time powerboat World Champion Erik Stark from Sweden and the accomplished 8-time National Champion professional watercraft (Jet Ski) racer Anna Glennon from the United States.
While Marc Anthony is no stranger to the sports arena, serving as a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins, his foray into water-based racing marks a thrilling new chapter in his sports ventures. As one of the 9 celebrity owners in the championship, Anthony, alongside his company Magnus, will not only own the team but also take the lead in hosting the E1 series in the U.S. The eagerly anticipated 2025 Miami event promises a dynamic experience, featuring electrifying races, the immersive Acceleration Festival, a vibrant Fan Village, and star-studded live concerts. This venture underscores Marc Anthony’s commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering unparalleled entertainment in the world of racing.

ABOUT UIM E1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
E1 is the world’s first and only all-electric raceboat championship sanctioned by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), which is the international governing body for all powerboating activities. The UIM E1 World Championship was established to create a new, exciting and competitive on-water racing platform based on electric technologies to protect and restore our urban waters and coastal areas.
The championship will see up to 10 teams and 20 mixed gender pilots racing on the water in iconic cities around the world, with the US due to host a race in Season 2. The E1 pilots will navigate tight and technical circuits behind the wheel of the electric E1 raceboats. A star-studded line-up of E1 team owners includes Marc Anthony, Tom Brady, Rafael Nadal, Steve Aoki, Sergio Perez, Didier Drogba and Virat Kohli.
